Atlantis

A deeper understanding of the market.

AI-generated fictional office photograph. Coworkers hold orange zidea letters inside a dry glass dome surrounded by underwater Atlantean ruins and marine life.
An imaginary office. A very committed team photograph.

Atlantis is where we take deep work too literally. The glass is load-bearing. Please do not use it as a whiteboard.

Deep Work & Structural Integrity

Life in Deep underwater.

Our Atlantis office sits beneath a glass dome among the remains of a civilization that apparently also invested heavily in columns. Archaeology has yet to establish whether the grand central chamber was a temple or a premium coworking space. The floor plan supports both interpretations.

Marisol’s team studies old systems, forgotten assumptions, and an inscription that may translate as “circle back after the harvest.” The discovery briefly troubled our innovation department. We have since reframed it as evidence of product-market fit across millennia.

A ray passes over the dome every afternoon. Work stops for a minute. People point. On land, we would need an initiative to persuade nine adults to look away from their screens together. Here, a fish does it. We have resisted making the fish a vice president.

“There is pressure at every job. Ours has an engineering specification.”

“As discussed, the flood risk remains outside this quarter’s scope.” The translation team requests permission to stop finding this funny.

Amsterdam would prefer to keep the water outside as well.
