Life in California.
The Presidio office has a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and a closet containing nineteen company-issued fleeces. Each fleece marks a strategic era. None is warm enough for the terrace in July.
Jamie maintains the Reinvention Register: a list of products Zidea almost launched before discovering they were calendars, email, or chairs. The register saves a considerable amount of money. Finance has asked whether the register could become a product. It has been added to itself.
On foggy days the bridge disappears completely. Visitors find this unsettling; employees find it reassuring. Here is a large, useful thing that continues to function without being visible in a presentation. The team is trying to learn from it.
“We disrupted the meeting by ending it.”
